Forensic Psychology
Forensic psychology can assist with developing insight into the factors that have contributed to an individual’s behaviour, and to provide insight into the potential for future harmful behaviour.
How is Forensic Psychology used?
Forensic psychology can assist with developing insight into the factors, past and present, that have contributed to an individual’s behaviour, to offer an explanation of why that behaviour has occurred, and to provide insight into the potential for future harmful behaviour.
Using information gathered from a range of sources (case summary, client history, interview, psychometric assessments) we can assist with developing an understanding of an individual’s functioning.
Assessments can be undertaken at the pre and post sentence stage, to assess suitability for release following recall and, to inform parole decisions.
